Hair Product Review

I am just going to start off by letting you all know that I am VERY picky when it comes to hair products. I expect a lot out of my hair products and will not continue using one if I don't think it works as well as it should. If I am not getting the results promised, then what's the point of wasting my money? That being said, I do have pretty difficult hair. I have very textured hair that is slightly frizzy and very unruly, It is wavy, but not pretty beach waves, more just like messy, disheveled waves that don't have a clue what they are doing.
I have recently been using these five products and have been wanting to share them, but wanted to make sure I could give a solid review first. These products are all pretty fabulous and meet my high standards, so I think they are worth the time to chat about and try out for yourself.

ONE // Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It
First we have this awesome styling cream. It is meant to be used on damp hair that you plan to air dry. I was so excited to find this because most styling creams usually recommend you blow-dry your hair afterwards to get results. I almost always air dry my hair so I have a hard time finding a styling cream I like. This one rocks. This product truly enhances natural texture and doesn't leave any sticky residue or feel like there is product sitting on your strands.

TWO // Living Proof PHD Shampoo and Conditioner
I will start by saying that I LOVE Living Proof. I have been using their products for over 6 years and think they deliver on their promise. All their products are designed to really treat and work with your hair over time for maximum results. I am one of those people that likes to mix up what shampoos and conditioners I am using, so I had to really commit to this one. I can't get enough. They are pricier for a shampoo and conditioner, but are definitely worth the money. I always notice a different in my hair when I randomly decide to use a different shampoo or conditioner one day. My hair is so manageable and tame when using these consistently.

THREE // Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist
This is a really new find of mine. I got a sample using my Sephora Rouge points and was immediately impressed. I use this at night on damp hair and when I wake up my hair has so much more lift and volume throughout the day. My hair can easily get weighed down on its own, but this really helps give it an extra boost. I am definitely planning on getting the full size when my sample runs out. I also love how this doesn't leave a crunchy feeling on my hair like some volumizing sprays.

FOUR // Big Sexy Hair Push Up Spray
If you can't tell, I am all about the volume. Having heavy hair, I try and find any way to combat it getting flat at the roots. This product is great to use after styling. Whenever I curl or straighten my hair I like to use this after at the roots and throughout just to add some umph and texture. It adds just enough volume where your hair doesn't look so perfect and neat. I always like a little messiness to my styles. I will say though, there are plenty of texture sprays that do basically the same thing at different price points. I really love this one by Oribe and this one by amika, as well.

FIVE // Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo

This product is a lifesaver every week. I use this shampoo every Sunday in place of my Living Proof, along with a deep conditioner. It deep cleans my hair and gets out all the excess product buildup from the week. I also feel like it allowed my deep conditioner to really get absorbed into my hair better. There are several shampoos like this one on the market, but for some reason I always gravitate back towards this one. It does a really great job at leaving my hair squeaky clean and rid of all the excess junk.
